Freedom Talk exists for open minds. Opinions here can be controversial and even offensive — that is allowed, as long as they are not malicious, do not target people or groups for harassment, and aim to inform rather than merely wound.

What's welcome

• Controversial opinions. Disagree hard. Challenge assumptions. Politics lives here.
• Offensive ideas, argued honestly. An opinion that stings is not the same as an attack.
• Evidence and reasoning. Informative beats inflammatory — bring sources, logic, experience.

What gets flagged for review

• Blatant racism and bigotry. No exceptions, no debate.
• Targeted harassment. Attack arguments, not people.
• Threats and toxic abuse. If it's meant to wound rather than persuade, it doesn't belong.
• Spam and scams.

How review works

Any member can flag a discussion, reply, or private message. Flagged content is hidden immediately and stays hidden until the site owner personally reviews it. The owner then decides: restore it or remove it. There is no algorithm in the middle — a human being makes the call.

False or abusive flagging to silence someone you disagree with is itself against the spirit of this place.
